Who spends a holiday in Meraner Land for Nordic Walking finds always the ideal tour which corresponds to the personal level of difficulty.
Seven at one blow
Whether in a group or alone, thanks to the clear routing you will never go astray and, surrounded by a wonderful countryside with sweeping views over the valley, you will do something good for your body and at the same time explore new destinations. We would like to offer a taste of Nordic Walking in Meraner Land and introduce you to seven beautiful trails of our region. Some of these have their starting point directly in Schenna.
So the large Nature.Fitness.Park® Schenna-Hirzer-Meran 2000 (NFP) offers seven Nordic Walking routes with three levels of difficulty. The NFP, as already the name says, includes the hiking area of Meran, Schenna and Hirzer. It was opened in the year 2004 and since then it has been always enlarged with new tracks.

Schenna – Mitterplatt
Level of difficulty: easy. Length: 3,8 km. Difference in altitude: 100. From the town center in Schenna passing along Mitterplattweg, Goyenweg, Kampfl Kreuz, Rodelstein and St. Georgener Straße back to Schenna.

Schenna – St. Georgen
Level of difficulty: medium-difficult. Length: 7,8 km. Difference in altitude: 285. From the town center in Schenna passing along Mitterplattweg, Goyenweg, Schloss Goyen, Mühlhaus, Schloss Vernaun, Waalweg, St. Georgen Straße and Krebishof back to Schenna.

Schenna – Raststein
Level of difficulty: from hard to difficult. Length: 9,9 km. Difference in altitude: 360. From the town center in Schenna passing along Mitterplattweg , Goyenweg, Schloss Goyen, Mühlhaus, Schloss Vernaun, Waalweg to Gsteier, Rasteinweg, St. Georgen Straße and Krebishof back to Schenna.

Hirzer Tour 1
Level of difficulty: medium-difficult. Length: 6,4 km. Difference in altitude: 200. From Klammeben passing by Stafell, Grube, Gompmalm and Hirzerhütte back to Klammeben.

Hirzer Tour 2
Level of difficulty: from hard to difficult. Length: 10,7 km. Difference in altitude: 450. From Prenn passing by Oberkirn, Grube, Gompmalm and Hochwies back to Prenn.

Meran 2000
Level of difficulty: medium-difficult. Length: 7,3 km. Difference in altitude: 200. From Gasthaus Piffing passing by Meraner Hütte, Kirchsteigeralm and Waidmannsalm back to Piffing.

Videgg/Taser
Level of difficulty: medium-difficult. Length: 7.8 km. Difference in altitude: 270. From the mountain station Verdins passing by Gasthof Oberkirn, Videgg, Rötenbach, Streitweideralm and path n.40 back to the mountain station Taser.
