Beautiful for climbing
Climbers must not travel far away from our hotel to reach the desired destination. The selection is large and offers climbing areas for all abilities. A mild winter and an early spring start provide ideal climbing conditions. A classic for hikers is Meraner Höhenweg around Texel Group. In several days you can round this mountain massif also with moderate body condition and enjoy superb panoramic views in the valleys. From Partschins to Greiterhof funicular, down from here into the deciduous forest, to the climbing area.

From Meran to Algund and then following the signs.

From Meran direction Bozen. From exit Gargazon cross the wine road on the right and forwards to the climbing area above the way.

Into Passeiertal till Moos and Pfelders. From the parking area at Gasthaus Bergkristall 100 metres along the road to get to the climgbing area.

To St. Leonhard in Passeier, from there forwards to Moos and park at the old Gasthaus at the former customs station. After 100 metres on foot the climbing are is on the left side behind the road limit.
Fragsburg Sektor Platten
2 routes up to 5a, 14 routes up to 6a, 11 routes up to 6c, 1 route up to 7b
From Schenna to Schloss Rametz and turn at Fragsburg. Passing by Fragsburg till Holzschild Unterweilerhof. Then through the wood to the climbing area. There are many other climbing areas. Besides the already mentioned Meraner Höhenweg mountain climbers can dabble on the 2.581-metre-high “Großen Ifinge”, the 2.781-metre-high “Hirzer” and on other peaks of Sarntaler Alpen. Depending on own body condition these mountain peaks can be mastered also by newcomers.
