It all began in 1980, when senior chef Pföstl built the Klarnerhof for his children. He comes from a farm and is the youngest of a total of seven siblings. Today, Theresia, the soul of the house, and her three siblings run our small feel-good hotel in Scena. She always has an open ear and is the ideal person for a chat or two at the reception.

For about six years now, her daughter Lisa has also been working diligently and brings a fresh approach to the house. She is a "girl for everything", or as we would call it today, an "all-round talent", who can be found at the reception and in the dining room as well as in the kitchen.
Many of our guests say that they feel at home as soon as they arrive at the Klarnerhof and they are thrilled by our warm nature. Of course, we are very happy about this, because we do our best every day to make everyone feel at home here. With us, strangers quickly become friends and friends become family.
